MEDIA URGED TO UPHOLD ETHICS AND ACCURACY DURING ELECTION PERIOD
Information and Media Permanent Secretary Thabo Kawana has urged journalists to uphold accuracy, ethical reporting and professionalism as Zambia prepares for the 13th August 2026 General Election.
Speaking during the opening of the final Media and Elections Capacity Building Workshop for Copperbelt broadcasting stations, organised by the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA), Mr. Kawana said the media has a critical role to play in ensuring a credible electoral process.
